CYBERSPORT TEMPLATE #1


This template combines the competitive theme of Jebus King with some of the most fun elements of Jebus Outcast. Designed for 1 Hero gameplay, Duel is a non-stop turbo action thanks to the free map control that can be found in the starting zone.

Main Features:

❖ The Bunker is an underground zone where players start, it contains: 3 control scrolls (Fly, DD and TP), Wood, Ore and Gold mines, several Knowledge boosters and Pandora's Box with all LVL 3 spells (requires Basic Wisdom).

❖ Gold Mine guards in the Bunker always join (without Diplomacy), price range is from 2000 to 7600 gold - max roll of Walking Dead (Skeletons, Familiars, Fire Elementals).

❖ On the ground level there's 4 towns: central town which mirrors your starting town, one town that mirrors central desert town, another one that mirrors opponent's faction and a Conflux town (used for learning magic skills and selling artifacts).

❖ There’s always at least one town of each faction on the map.

❖ Pandora with all spells (which requires Expert Wisdom) can be found in the "Side Bunker" that can be located in the corner of a Side Treasury. 60k value entrance guard.

❖ Diplomacy effectiveness is reduced to 25% joining in the desert. Zone guards between desert and biomes can randomly spawn as 25% or 50% joining, depending on a tile they stand on.

❖ All Pandoras on the surface always give units.

❖ L size version doesn't have Relics, T5 boxes and Dragon Utopias in the biome. Each faction has 4 guaranteed Pandoras.

How to install

  1. Check your HOTA version (must be 1.6.1), if it's not the latest one then go to: HOTA downloads

  2. Unpack the zip file.

  3. Place the folder with RMG file into Heroes 3 > HotA_RMGTemplates directory.

  4. Make sure that there are no subfolders otherwise it won't work. Don't rename the folder to avoid matching errors in lobby. Restart the game if template doesn’t appear on the list.

TEMPLATE RULES

Standard 1 hero gaming rules.

Refer to these rules in case of conflicting opinions. If the situation at hand is not covered in this ruleset, then write about it in the feedback channel.


  1. Recommended timers: Tournament 2 / 1 / 0:15 and Chill Play 2 / 1:30 / 1.

  2. Restart 1x111, simultaneous turns 135.

  3. 1 Hero 1 life. No surrender or running away from battle.

  4. No Draws. In final fights the player who deals the finishing blow wins the game (Reflected damage from Fire Shield and Magic Mirror also counts as a last hit for a player who casted these spells).

  5. It is allowed to Fly or DD over a second guard of monoliths and subterranean gates.

  6. Universal Break. Only one Border Guard (of 45K value) must be defeated or joined in order to gain free access to all other zones on the map. It is permitted to use Dimension Door to teleport over a Border Guard and immediately attack it.

  7. FF 242 (Final Fight on month 2 week 4 day 2). Whoever controls the central desert town by the end of this turn - wins the game. Winning the fight with summons also counts.

  8. In FFA matches, the player who is losing the final battle must always give items to the opponent. Also make sure to not leave the game until after you end your turn, otherwise it can cause serious bugs for other players.

ALTERNATIVE TRADES

  • [RH] Random Hero. Go to Random Hero Roulette and spin it to get random Heroes. After that proceed with trading for the Hero + Town combination you prefer. 500 gold for a re-roll.

  • [AP] All Pick. Free pick any Town and Hero.

CHANGELOG

Version 2.69l:

❖ Heroes banned: Deemer.

❖ FFA versions are removed. They will be re-introduced in the next JO update.

❖ Reduced chance for high tier boxes in all zones.

❖ Added Spells: Summon Air Elementals, Quicksand, Protection from Fire.

❖ Disabled Spells: Fire Shield, Inferno.

Bunker.

❖ Bunker size is reduced. Sometimes not all Knowledge power-ups spawn.


Biome.

❖ Monks, Zealots, Roc and Thunderbird boxes are limited to 1 max.

❖ Frequency of Pandoras increased to 69 (from 40).

❖ Fixed unusually rich biomes, with too many Pandoras for Stronghold and Cove.

❖ All factions now have base number of boxes (minimum 3 except: Necropolis 5, Tower 6, Rampart 8).

❖ Number of T6 dwellings increased to 6 (from 5). 4 Nix Forts, 6 Hydra Ponds.


Side Treasuries.

❖ Boosted number of T6 and T7 Dwellings. Behemoth and Angels Dwellings are capped at 4.

❖ 1 guaranteed Library of Enlightenment.

❖ Side Bunkers will now have towns.


Desert.

❖ Max value reduced to 40k (from 60k).

❖ Pandoras become random, same frequency as on Side Treasuries.

❖ Number of Libraries reduced to 4 (from 7).

❖ Frequency of T6 Dwellings increased to 80 (from 40), except Nix Forts.


L size.

❖ Max value reduced to 18k in the biome (from 22k).

❖ T5 Pandoras are removed. All factions have 4 guaranteed un-upgraded boxes.

❖ Oasis is disabled.

❖ Added FFA versions 4p (L - XL) and 8p (XL - H).

❖ New Skin: Mutare Human Form.

❖ Rebalanced Dwellings.

❖ Rebalanced Boxes. Frequency of T1 boxes increased to 200 (6 max). Swordsman / Crusader limited to 4 max, Vampires 3 max (Vampire Lords disabled), Gorgons - no restrictions (Mighty Gorgons disabled), Stormbirds / Ayssids 4 max. Dendroid Guards frequency boosted to 500 (3 max).

❖ Relics can spawn again (70 frequency).

❖ Frequency of boxes increased to 40 (from 30).


Bunker.

Gold Mine is returned.


Side Treasuries.

❖ Can randomly generate as the Neutrals zone on Wasteland terrain (20% chance).

❖ Behemoth Crag and Portal of Glory dwellings limited to 5 max.

❖ 2 guaranteed Libraries of Enlightenment.

❖ Number of Dragon Utopias increased to 2 (from 1).

❖ Slightly increased frequency of boxes.


Desert.

❖ Added T6 dwellings.

❖ Behemoth Crag and Portal of Glory dwellings limited to 7 max.

❖ -1 T5, T6, T7 boxes.

❖ T7 Pandoras now give only upgraded units.

❖ Number of Libraries of Enlightenment reduced to 7 (from 9).


L size.

❖ Relics, Dragon Utopias and Libraries can’t spawn in the biome.

❖ Only 5 unit boxes per biome, one of each tier (except Rampart that gets 1 additional Dendroid box).


4p and 8p versions.

❖ 6 all spells boxes in the middle zone (55k value). Neutral towns are random and there's no guaranteed Conflux town. The Bunker in these versions becomes a straight tunnel with a Monolith at the end of it, which leads to the desert (60k guards).

❖ Logistics returned.

❖ Added Heroes: Beatrice, Andal, Calid, Straker, Moandor, Ranloo, Kinkeria, Pyre, Monere.

❖ Size is increased to fit up to 4 Gardens of Revelation. Gold Mine was moved topside.
