KING OF THE DUEL

Main Event

❖ Games will begin on September 5th 2022.

❖ Prize pool of the Main Event will depend on the number of players and donations, and top 8 places will be paid (at least x2 of buy-in).

FORMAT

❖ Double Elimination BO3 all games. Grand Finale is BO5.

❖ In the Lower Bracket, standard trade is replaced with Random Hero trade. This tool will be used to draw Heroes: https://www.h3templates.com/content/random-hero-roulette

❖ In BO3 series, towns that were already played must be banned. In the lower bracket press on Heroes button in RHR to ban towns.

❖ Streaming is required (Twitch, YouTube or Discord screen sharing).

❖ During Final Battles stream chat should be turned to Emotes-only mode to avoid unfair advices.

❖ Cheating software, spoilers, streamsniping, running the game (when other player controls the participant's game by making decisions for him/her) is prohibited.

❖ Value calculators, damage calculators, Wiki pages, screenshots, video guides and custom game notes are all allowed.

❖ Rules of this tournament might change depending on the situation.

TEMPLATE

❖ Duel 2.69n (XL+U).

❖ Settings. 160%, fast roads, water content - none, strong monsters, tournament rules on.

❖ Standard trades. No free re-rolls. Each player gets 1 re-roll for 500 gold with ban.

❖ Red color must be the first to lock his hero choice by typing: ready in chat. After that he can not change his pick.

❖ Timer: 2 / 1 / 0:15. Simultaneous turns: 127 (or other if both players agree to it).

❖ Final Fight: 242, whoever controls central town by the end of this turn - wins the game.

❖ Each turn in the Final Battles, you can ask judges / casters to set timer for 1 minute if your opponent has been thinking for more than 4 minutes. Then he needs to make a move before this timer runs out, otherwise he must resign. Use in-game chat for this.

❖ HOTA online rules and 1 hero gaming rules are both applicable in this tournament.

SCHEDULE

❖ If players had agreed on a certain time to play their match, running late in this case might lead to a technical defeat. 30 minutes late and player forfeits 1 game, 45 minutes - technical defeat. It is allowed to cancel the match in advance if player has a good reason for it (at least 4 hours before the start). Contact tournament organizer if you wish to explain your situation.

❖ If your opponent is not responding to you regarding match schedule - you will need to notify the organizer and show screenshots.

❖ After players set the time and date for their match, they need to report it in the #schedule channel and notify the organizer - Cashas. Use this format: Day.Month Player vs Player 11:11 EEST.

CASTING

❖ Anyone can cast games until Round 3 (including). However after that all games will be commented exclusively on Cashas's twitch channel. Write to him if you wish to co-cast these games.
