Hota Online Rules (1 Hero gaming edition 1.0)
Edited version of the original Hota Online Rules, made specifically for 1 Hero templates.Barter is the recommended way of town and color selection. In order to perform barter, HoMM3 HD mod must be used. Alternatively, players can try All Random (AR, random town, hero and bonus) in this case color is decided by the coin toss (winner picks the color).
In a situation when neither you or your opponent wish to initiate the barter - a coin toss must be performed. Winner of the coin toss must be the first to decide whether he will be re-rolling town pair or not, and the first to start betting for town and color (starting from 100 gold, further bets must be multiples of 100 as well)
No free re-rolls of town pairs by default (unless otherwise specified by the game's host). Each player gets 1 re-roll with 1 town ban for 500 gold.
During the barter phase, a player who takes the Red color must lock his Hero choice first. To confirm your choice type "+" (switching the Hero is not allowed after that).
Fair Play. All forms of cheating, the use of crashes, bugs, stream-sniping, spoilers, the use of external software and modification of the template are forbidden.
If the game is played with password protected saves, players must share their passwords with each other as soon as possible, after the game ends.
In case of a disconnect (desync), the player who has the turn must save the game. Another option is to load an autosave of a player who was inactive at that moment. If disconnect happened during a battle, players must try to repeat their turns exactly as they were made before.
In case Simultaneous Turns are interrupted blue player will have to replay his turn again. But he doesn’t have to repeat the actions he did before the interruption.
