Main features:
β Basic is all about keeping things as close to the original game as possible. Meaning that almost all Heroes, spells and artifacts are available on this template, most objects are random (except Dwellings in the biome) however there won't be many Creature Banks like you usually see on the standard templates like JC, they were made intentionally rare to facilitate bigger variety of viable units.
β Available in various sizes - from M to G+U (M for 2 players, L, XL and Islands XH+U for up to 4 players, H and Islands G+U for up to 8 players). 8 Hero format can be downloaded separately, it adds the ability to hire Heroes and the Prisons can spawn on the map.
β L+U, XL+U, H+U, XH+U and G+U versions all have small underground zones, which contain 3 control scrolls (Fly, DD, TP), they can be accessed via monolith or an underground passage. The value of entrance guards is 18k.
β Gold, Experience and Spell boxes in the biome are limited and some redundant boxes are disabled. Quests can only give T7 units.
β High value boxes in the main treasure zone always give all spells (55000 value each).
β Diplomacy effectiveness is reduced to 25% joining in the middle zone (except versions with Islands).
β To select Islands versions: first you need to set Water content to Islands, then pick XH or G size and light up the underground level button (rightmost in the map size selection). Unlike regular versions, Islands don't have a rich middle zone, instead there's large sea with many Utopia-like objects.

HOW TO INSTALL
Check your HOTA version (must be 1.7.0), if it's not the latest one then go to: HOTA downloadsΒ
Place the .h3t file into Heroes 3 > HotA_RMGTemplates directory.
TEMPLATE RULES
Recommended settings. Chill timer: 2 / 1:15 / 0:30. Competitive timer: 2 / 1 / 0:15.Β
> Fast roads only (rightmost option), water content - none or islands, monster strength - normal or strong, difficulty - 160%.
> Simultaneous turns 127, tournament rules - on or off, protected saves - enabled.
Restart 1x111. The Red player must be the first to say whether he keeps (+) or restarts (111). The Blue player can end the turn and wait until Red makes his decision. Technical restarts are allowed in cases when the guard of underground entrance blocks your path towards 2 towns at once, without any possibility to go around nearby (can be taken until second week starts).
In order to gain access to all external zones on the map, one of Border Guards (the ones that guard entrance to the middle zone) must be defeated or joined. It is not permitted to use Dimension Door (or Fly) to jump over the Border Guard, unless it is aimed in a way that instantly initiates the fight with it. If you see that your biome is missing one of Border Guards, due to another player's actions, in that case you also gain full access to the map.
Team games (for example 2 vs 2). Defeating one Border Guard counts for the whole team. It is also allowed to move freely between allied zones at any moment of the game.
FF242 (Final Fight on month 2 week 4 day 2). Whoever controls the central town of the main treasury zone by the end of this turn - wins the game. Winning the fight with only the summoned units left on the battlefield also counts as a victory.
